Statutory Assessments at Whale Hill Primary School
These statutory assessments are in place throughout your child’s time at primary school to check their knowledge, skills and understanding in the core areas. The assessments take place in all schools and are relevant to a child’s age and year group.
This provides an overview of the dates which these assessments will take place.

| Year 2 | End of Key Stage 1 Optional Assessment (SATS) | June 2026 – date to be confirmed. |
| Year 4 | Multiplication Tables Check | During a 2 week period from Monday 1st June 2026 |
| Year 6 | End of Key Stage 2 Statutory Assessment (SATS) | Monday 11th – Thursday 14th May 2026 |
