Whale Hill Breakfast and after school Stay and Play form the basis of our very popular wrap around care, located in Upper School hall. These child-care services are available during term time to all children attending Whale Hill Primary.
Both clubs offer high quality care within a fun environment. They are very welcoming and the childrens behaviour is excellent. The clubs are managed by our support staff and so all the adults are highly trained, know the children well and can cater for individual and special needs.
Due to popular demand, please ensure you book your child into these provisions well in advance. Details and prices are available from the main school office.
Breakfast Club: 8.00 a.m. 8.55 a.m.
Whale Hill Breakfast Club starts at 8.00 a.m - 8.55 a.m.
The children are offered the choice of a variety of cereals and toast, along with a refreshing cup of apple/orange juice, milk or water. One day a week, the children enjoy a special treat which could be chocolate spread, hot cross buns, teacakes, fruit loaf and much more!
Breakfast Club takes place in our newly refurbished room. We offer children high quality care in a fun environment. Breakfast Club is managed by our support staff and so all the adults are highly trained and know the children well. We can also cater for individual needs or specific dietary requirements. After children are served a healthy breakfast, they are taken safely to their classes.
We take long and short-term bookings, however Breakfast Club is proving very popular so we advise that parents book their child/ren a week in advance to avoid disappointment. Forms can be collected from the front reception area. Unfortunately, due to insurance purposes, we are limited to how many children can attend. Entrance to Breakfast Club is through the doors on upper school playground. (If it is your child's first time, please complete a registration form).
Prices: £2.50 per child/per day or £11.50 per child/per week.
Stay and Play: 3.10 p.m. 5.15 p.m.
Stay and Play is part of our very popular wrap around care which takes place 3.10 p.m until 5.15 p.m.
Children are provided with quality care, by members of our highly trained support staff, in a rich and fun learning environment. Children can participate in a range of planned activities that include; baking, crafts, toys, electronic games and outdoor play. Refreshments are also provided. Every Friday, the children enjoy 'Movie Night' watching one of their favourite films whilst enjoying a special snack.
