School Dinners

At Whale Hill Primary, children can enjoy a variety of healthy, delicious, and nutritious meals thoughtfully prepared by Mellors Catering Company. If you would like a menu so that you and your child can choose their meals together, please see below, or call into the school office.

Our kitchen staff work incredibly hard all year round – but never more than on Christmas dinner day. This is not just any food, this is Whale Hill Christmas Dinner. We all really enjoyed it, and want to pass on our thanks to Cook and all the kitchen staff, and their helpful elves, for all their hard work.

We are looking forward to sharing our upcoming theme days with you all, and will share future dates as we know them.

If your child is currently on packed lunches, and would like to swap back to dinners – please notify the school office, as we have a form for you to complete. We need two weeks notice to swap from packed lunches to dinners, and vice versa, to allow our Cook to order food in, according to dinner numbers.

If you think you may be eligible for Free school meals, even if your child is in Year Reception, One or Two, you can apply online here. https://apply.cloudforedu.org.uk/ofsm/sims
