Enrol Your Child at Whale Hill
An old man walking along the beach at dawn noticed a young man picking up starfish and flinging them back into the sea.
Catching up with the youth he asked what he was doing.“The starfish will die if they are still on the beach when the sun toasts them with its mid-morning heat,” came the reply.
“But the beach goes on for miles and there are millions of starfish,” replied the old man. “How can you make a difference?”
The young man looked at the starfish in his hand and then threw it to safety in the waves.
“It makes a difference to this one!” he said.
Registering your child to start in Reception
Dear Parents and Carers,
All adults at Whale Hill are firm in the belief that each of us can make a difference. This belief lies at the heart of our value system and provides a corporate moral purpose to our work. At Whale Hill we live and breathe improvement, based on a guiding belief that if we aim for the sky, we might just hit the ceiling! No staff could be more committed to ensuring children reach their full potential, but then no children could be more deserving.
On behalf of the staff and governors, we welcome you and your child to our school and look forward to a happy and successful association over the coming years. We are pleased to share with you information relating to our school in this prospectus. We hope it will enable you to take a full and active part in the life of the Whale Hill Primary for the benefit of all the children. Our prospectus is designed to give you information about our school, its aims, curriculum and activities. We hope you will find it both useful and interesting.
Yours sincerely
Sandra Marsden
